Hillary Goodridge is program director of the Unitarian Universalist Funding Program. She and her spouse Julie Goodridge were lead plaintiffs in Goodridge v. Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the case that legalized same-sex marriage in Massachusetts in November 2003. Hillary and Julie married on the first day marriage licenses were available, May 17, 2004, at the headquarters of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations in Boston.
