John Graham, a former U.S. diplomat, is president of the Giraffe Heroes Project, a group that tells the stories of ordinary people who have done exemplary service work. He is the author of several books, including Stick Your Neck Out and It's Up to Us. While living in New York he attended All Souls Unitarian Church, and he has been a speaker at Starr Island.
