General Assembly media coverage and more

The UUA's annual General Assembly usually manages to catch the eye of the local media. Here are some of the stories that talked about this year's GA in Portland, Ore. UUA President William Sinkford was interviewed on Portland’s progressive talk radio station KPOJ 620AM on Wednesday, June 20, as thousands of UUs gathered in the city for the 2007 General Assembly. You can listen to the interview on the station's website.

Amy Goodman, host of “Democracy Now!,” writes about the GA presentation on how the Pentagon Papers came to be published by Beacon Press, and why it may be time for new Pentagon Papers to see the light of day. (Truthdig - 6.26.07)

Former minister faces extradition

UU mother teaches 'spiritual parenting'
