Nine lesbian couples, members of Unity Church-Unitarian of St. Paul, Minn., got married in Iowa as part of the UUA's Standing on the Side of Love campaign, and to spark Minnesota legislators to action on the issue. "This is what love looks like," said the Rev. Janne Eller-Isaacs. "This is what the world needs to see. ...We want to recognize what Iowa has done." (Chicago Tribune - 8.31.09)
