Surprise wedding at boy's funeral, ethical eating, and more

Parents marry in honor of son
A funeral service was held the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo Monday for Asa Hill, a seven-year-old who died in the hospital after a six-car crash Thursday. Hill's parents, Amilcar Hill and Rahwa Ghirmatzion, were married at the end of the service. (The Buffalo News - NY 9.8.09)

New York church focuses on 'ethical eating'
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Westchester, N.Y. hosted a lunchtime picnic of locally grown food as part of its Labor Day weekend series, "Time for Lunch." The church is particpating in a four-year study of "ethical eating," according to its minister, the Rev. Michael Tino. (LoHud.com - NY 9.6.09)
