At GA, UUA and DRUUMM leaders signed a five-year memorandum of understanding, reviewable in 2024. The UUA for the first time commits to explicit financial, administrative, and resource support to DRUUMM, while DRUUMM commits to creating spaces for UU people of color to worship, connect, and support one another. “Our financial, administrative, and relational commitment to druumm is an affirmation of our shared mission to create a fully inclusive Unitarian Universalism where people of color can thrive,” said UUA President Susan Frederick-Gray.
