The Racial Justice Task Force of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, New Jersey, coordinated donations of more than 950 face masks to four local organizations responding to emergency requests for food.
In March, the Board of the Pacific Northwest UU Growth Foundation dedicated $75,000 to support the sudden need for online worship and ministry for nearly forty UU congregations in Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
In just weeks, the UU Massachusetts Action Network and area congregations raised over $58,000 by June to support partner organizations working for communities hit hard by the pandemic.
On July 1, the Church of the Larger Fellowship, a Unitarian Universalist congregation without walls, announced its new lead ministry team: Aisha Hauser, Christina Rivera, and the Rev. Michael Tino. They replace the Rev. Meg Riley, who now serves as the Unitarian Universalist Association’s new co-moderator with Charles Du Mond.
