There will be one contested election at General Assembly 2026, for Seat #5 on the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Board of Trustees.
Terry Grim
Candidate Terry Grim was nominated by the UUA Nominating Committee to serve a three-year term in Position #5 on the board. Candidate Larry Ladd is running by petition for the same position.
In other elections at GA 2026:
- Three candidates are running uncontested for three-year terms on the board: Gail Forsyth-Vail, Chloe Ockey, and Rev. Dr. Oscar Sinclair.
- There are uncontested elections for positions on the Board of Review, the Commission on Appraisal, the Nominating Committee, and the Presidential Search Committee.
A candidate forum will be held at a date and time in early June. More information will be made available soon.
Voting will take place online and will open on June 1 at 9 am ET/8 am CT/7 am MT/6 am PT/5 am AKT/3 am HST. Voting will close on June 15 at 9 am ET/8 am CT/7 am MT/6 am PT/5 am AKT/3 am HST.

All UUA business at GA 2026, Meet the Moment: Together Everywhere will be conducted online. From Sunday, June 14 to Tuesday, June 16, delegates will engage in fully online General Sessions focused on the business of the Association. GA programming resumes Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21 with worship, featured speakers, and Meet the Moment-themed programs that can be experienced online, at the studio site in Louisville, Kentucky, and at satellite sites around the country.
