We may agree that love is central, but what does that mean to us and what does it require of us? It is in that spirit that Love at the Center asked more than two dozen leaders in the UU movement what it means to center love in the UU faith.

Within the pages of Love at the Center are personal testimonies to love’s power, reminders of the centrality of love throughout Universalist and Unitarian history, and theologies of love drawn from many expressions of Unitarian Universalism. Love at the Center serves as an invitation to deepen your own understanding and practices of love.

In past years, the UUA has offered book club-style discussion guides. This year, thanks to Rev. Michelle Collins and Jenn Blosser, the Association will provide more in addition to book club materials, including:

  • a full lifespan curriculum series (ages seven and older);
  • committee-specific discussion guides;
  • a collection of quotes for use in worship; and
  • a printable interactive mystery game, “The Mystery of the Slightly Sentient Chalice,” that is designed for intergenerational play
