not being
able to
remember who
you are,
or names
and faces
of your
loved ones,
not even
being able
to remember,
God, how
to love,
to be
loving, and
who you
are, what
you are,
what you
did, not
do. where
you are,
where you
are going.
forgetting who
is gone,
what you
thought, knew,
imagined, dreamed.
imagine forgetting
how to
read, write
and talk.
imagine your
body out-
living your
mind. imagine
knowing all
that is
beginning. imagine
not being
able to
imagine.
